About Me
Hello their friends & fellow anglers
My name is Pail Fisher, im capt. of the Quantum Magic Trout team in Denmark.
Welcome to my profile and little corner of the club. I’m from Denmark, I have been fishing on and off since I was 6 years old. Now days I mainly do catch n Release for trout, carp and sturgeon
As I enjoy fishing very much, I'm a very active angler that’s not letting a bit of rain or snow stops me from going out fishing. If there’s much more than a week between I’m getting out, I’m either sick or crawling on the walls to get out there.
I also enjoy the camp life, cooking over fire and many other outdoor activities. So I often combine it with my fishing, going out for a few days at a time or longer if my planner allows it.

I thought I would start a section on Trout fishing, both a popular eating and game fish around the world.Hoping others will take time to write up and maybe make a video, on how you tie your favorite rig and present the bait and what kind of bait you are using.
In this first post and the video I have made, I will explain how to fish for trout in a pretty simple and highly effective way, with a regular spinning rod and reel. My 13 yearol daughter landed a 10 pound trout on this kinda rig this season.
How to fish Trout with Bombarda part 1 How to fish Trout with Bombarda part 2 (HD)
For this you will need:
A Bombard float.2-3 split shots.Fluorocarbon line. (4-7 lbs is fine)Small Single hook.
Spinning rod and reel.
I’m not going to go much into detail on hook size, as there are so freaking many different ways to set the size. Japanese, American and English all seem to have different size classes to the same... less

Often used by carp anglers, but there are other fish too that you can land on boilies like tench, catfish and sturgeon.
This is a basic dough recipe, in the video I use Oister flavor and roll up some Fish flavord boilies too. But you can add any flavor or color you wish, just follow the video toturial and you will be all good. Color don't matter much, it's mainly to make it easyer for you to tell your boilies apart. Without haveing to sniff them, as I find alot of the flavors I use reeks horrible.

Step 1
First I run the eggs under hot water, then isolate the eggs and remove the eggsack.
Step 2
Fish out small peices of eggsack, will show as white "flakes" floating above the eggs.
(you can jump this if you like)
Step 3
Make and add the brine to the eggs, cover the eggs and refrigiate for 15-20 min.
Step 4
Let the finished caviar dripp off any excess water in a sift for a little before you jar them, don't wash em or anything. The salt brine helps preserve the caviar, it's not only to flavor the Caviar.
The brine I use is made of:
500 ml Water
50 grams of salt
Use plenty of brine to cover the eggs When it's all done, it's good for 7-14 days when stored cold in the refrigiator.

I was thinking about Sub forums, if it's possible to make for this forum and if so. Could there might be made some Sub forums, under the different Tips & Tricks forums and maybe others.
So when you go into Tips & Tricks it have extra options, this way later on when the forum is full of good infomation and articles about "how to fish" it's not all mangled into each other. Fresh water fishing is a huge topic, im shure sea fishing is just as huge and technical. But as we are and gonna be more people, on many different skill levels and some prolly fish more then others, im shure we could end up with a awsome forum full of user to user info, with easy accessible Vidoe DIY's, Tutorials and ekspert advice.
This way it would be much easyer to go specific into... less

Im a fresh green sprout going on my summer No#32 and I have been fishing on and off for most my life. Had about a decade where I did'nt fish so much from I was 20 to 28, unless hooking hot chicks in clubs counts as landing a big catch.
Mainly I fish for Carp, Northern Pike, "Euro" Perch, trouth and salamon. Most of the fishing I do is Catch n Release, as I mainly fish in fresh water and I prefere eating saltwater fish. Besides fishing I also enjoy nature walks, camping, tree climbing, australian repelling or wall running as it's know as here and many other hobbies.
I love to travel and wish I had the money to do it all the time, then I would be tracking the globe with a rod bag, survival kit and some video cameras. less

Here it's a pretty common acid, I even think I can buy it at larger groccery stores in the sections for chemical cleaners.

By unenlightened moron i mean a person not having the means to put 2 and 2 together and think twice about using a lubricans from a aerosol can, used in your garage/shed for all kinds of things. To think sure it's most likely safe to feed into a water enviroment, not going on the internet and look up the chemicals in the can. I know thats what I did the first time someone told me about the WD40 useage for fishattraction, took my WD40 and looked up the content chemicals on google and the safety data sheets from both EU and the US. I truely hope just a few who read this thinks twice about using WD40 or atleast look up the chemicals listed as toxic, then deside that toxic chemicals have nothing to do in our waterways, streams, rivers and oceans we all love to fish.
Both Paraffinic distillate and... moreLet me be blunt!
Both Paraffinic distillate and Isoparaffins petroleum hydrotreated are toxic, so using WD40 as a fish attractor is idiotic and only a unenlightened moron would do so!
My love for people who pollute water, and well delibretly pollute in general can be placed in a very tiny little place!
There are soo many great natural attractors now days, so there is no need to use toxic stuff like WD40. And yes Garlic is a fantastic flavor enhancment, I use that for both Carp and Trout. They love it along with krill shrimp oil and several other spices! less

Jokes a side, David thats terrible, sorry to hear about that kinda stuff. The harbor is everyones, fishermens aswell and everyone should have the right to use it as they want to. Aslong they don't harm anyone, make a mess of the place or in anyother way mistreat the puplic forum.
I wish you all good luck in Toronto getting this unfair ban lifted!

Where we could post topics about our fishing trips and outdoor adventures! Would be a prefect place to make a topic about beach findings like shells and coral or what ever you can find on your local beach.
@Adz Cash I love the idea and would love to both see your pictures but also read about what kind of shells and corals you find, we don't have corals where I live and most shells around here are quite small. But some of them are pretty non the less!

Smokeing trout, thourt I would share how I do it.
Now I use a Weber grill - I used to smoke a lot of stuff in a big oven with my old man when I was a teenager.
First I prepare the fish, when it's fresh like the one I smoked today I just add salt and let it dry in the sun for a hour or two.
When frosen I would dump the fish into a salt so...
